If you could recommend 3 books to anyone, what would they be?

A timeless book that talks about spiritual self-reflections and how to make sense of the universe. The book never ceases in helping us find our calm spiritual centres in the chaotic and overwhelming modern world. It was probably not supposed to be published. But (we like it because it is about) Marcus being brutally honest with himself and his belief, which is stoic.

Sick of being dependent on cigarettes, I saw a YouTube video where Ashton Kutcher talked about how this book helped him get over smoking. Initially sceptical about the book, I had a fair share of many failed attempts at quitting the bad habit. However, after reading this book, I never looked back and have been smoke-free ever since! I hope this could help anyone else out there overcoming the addiction.

Uzumaki by Junji Ito

This book will always have a special place in my heart. I loved horror movies when I was a teenager, but Junji Ito's book blew me away with the detailed illustration and unique drawing style. His work, we would say, is a horror masterpiece. The stories are nerve-wracking and creepy. It would leave you in a state of awe at how a person could draw creepiness and horror tastefully.

What are you reading now?

Mastering Bitcoin by Andreas M. Antonopoulos. Next would be Numbers Don't Lie by Vaclav Smil.

What is your favourite bookstore or library?

In Singapore, I love Basheer bookstore for our design book fix and the Singapore National Library for everything else. In Malaysia, then it would be Kinokuniya at KLCC.
